Aloe Cabins, a perfect countryside escape, is situated on a working citrus and dairy farm in the malaria free Addo area of the Eastern Cape, South Africa. A welcome addition to the Cabins, is the Ivy Lodge Farm House.
The comfortable 3 star graded self-catering cabins and farm house provide a central base from which to experience the big 5 in the world renowned Addo Elephant National Park, situated a mere 20km from the Main Gate and South Gate entrances to the park.
Nestled amongst lush pastures and indigenous aloes, the cabins provide a family friendly setting in which to unwind. Enjoy memorable sunsets and scenic views of the surrounding valley from the cosy cabin decks. Swim in the pool, hike through the Bushveld Flower Reserve or simply relax in the shade of the Acacia trees, while listening to the call of the African Fish Eagles circling above the Sundays River.
The Ivy Lodge Farm House surrounded by citrus orchards is situated a few metres down the road from the cabins. The Settler style home built in the 1920’s has been lovingly restored and renovated into the Ivy Lodge Farm House, catering for larger groups and families of up to 12 guests.
